Reservation Policy at IIPM

While Arjun Singh has been trying his best to get additional reservation seats at the IITs and IIMs, IIPM has been at the forefront of providing reservations in its IIPM towers. At IIPM all student seats are reserved on April First for the OMCs (Other Moneyed Class) and all faculty positions are reserved on April First for those graduating from IIPM that day. In line with Arjun Singh's policy of increasing seats at IITs and IIMs to cover the seats lost by additional reservations, IIPM is also increasing its seats to cover any shortfall of seats so as to not miss any of the OMCs. As of now they have optimised by having students on campus in three batches so that when any batch has extended free vacations at home or free study tours in Europe another batch is on campus. In a new initiative to improve the yeild, IIPM will work in three batches at a time in three shifts of 8 hours each in day so that contact hours can be retained at a high level. A call center is being set up in IIPM Delhi to cater 24 hours to queries from IIPM students throughout the country on the IIPM hotline. Most responses have been automated and currently students are trying to max out all the options available so that they can talk to someone human. IIPM is truly the future of management education and Arjun Singh does have something to learn from it!
